I want you to succeed. That's probably the most important thing you need to know about me. If you have a passion for a cause or charity, you should be armed with a tool box filled with some solid techniques to help you help your charity. My passion is the MACC Fund...I've been a development officer there since 2008. A self-professed nerd, my skill set leads me to all things interwebs-related
(programming, development, design, online fundraising, social media, etc.) along with event planning and coordination. Why should you listen to someone who's only been doing this for 3+ years? I really don't know. I can't promise you that what I say is going to work every time, or even at all. What I do know is that making the wrong kind of charitable ask can alienate your friends. And I bet you like
having friends. And I bet you'd like to keep them. So let's try to do that.
