Day Rides/Charity Events

Support the United Performing Arts Fund Sunday, June 2nd with UPAF's Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite! This event has routes for riders of all skill levels, ranging from 5 miles to 75 miles. Again this year, three routes (75, 50 and one of the 25-mile routes) will ride over the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge. All routes will contain at least one (more for longer routes) oasis for refreshments, spot bike repair, restrooms and first aid.

Ride For Hope on June 8, 2013: Come out ride the Trek 100 to support cancer and blood disorder research! This ride begins and ends at the Trek Headquarters in Waterloo, WI and has 19 mile, 36 mile, 62 mile, and 100 mile routes to choose from.

Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.

Come support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour July 20-21, 2013! Enjoy a beautiful ride up the shore of Lake Michigan from Mequon to Sturgeon Bay! This two-day ride will stop in Manitowoc, where lodging will be free, and all meals for the entire two-day period will be provided.

The ride begins at 7:30 a.m at the Waukesha County Technical College-Pewaukee Campus, stops at UW-Whitewater on Saturday, and ends at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison on Sunday. A one-day option was available from Waukesha to Whitewater on Saturday.

The Zoological Society of Milwaukee is hosting their annual Ride on the Wild Side on September 15, 2013 to raise money to support the Zoo animals! This ride encompasses three routes through the Milwaukee area that cater to riders of all ages and abilities.

RIVEREDGE NATURE CENTER is nestled in glacier-formed hills along the banks of the Milwaukee River in central Ozaukee County. Riveredge, a 378-acre natural sanctuary, provides hands-on environmental education and outdoor opportunities for thousands of school children, adults and families each year. Education is our mission, along with land preservation and scientific research. Start your route in the heart of Newburg.

The JDRF Ride To Cure Diabetes is an adventure of a lifetime. Riders from around the world take on two challenges: raising the critical money needed to fund the research that will cure diabetes, and reaching a personal training goal that will prepare them for their destination cycling experience.
